The most common notarization type, an acknowledgment, ensures that the person signing the document is who they claim to be and is signing voluntarily.

Acknowledgments validate the signer’s identity, not the document’s truthfulness.

A jurat is used when the signer must voluntarily swear or affirm that the contents of a written document are true.

Jurats are signed in the notary’s presence after the signer verbally declares the document’s contents are accurate.

During booking, you will pay for a single notarization + travel within the service area you choose. If you need more than one notarization, I’ll coordinate the additional payment with you after booking.
